Aside from being a land of endless plains comprising of grassland and woodland savanna, Serengeti is a wildlife theatre whereby various forms of wildlife roam freely and naturally in its wake. These include the members of the big five, thousands of wildebeests, zebra, Thompson Gazelle and many others.
Wind up your safari at Lake Manyara, home to the blue-balled (vervet) monkeys, bushbucks and waterbucks, leopards, baboons, buffaloes, hippos, giraffes among other interesting wildlife. Most of all, get to meet the tree-climbing lions lounging high atop trees.
Meet upon arrival at Kilimanjaro international Airport. Transfer to Arusha for lunch (depending on the arrival time). After lunch, drive through the Iraqw Village farmlands on the way to your lodge in Karatu just outside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The crater covers over 300 square kilometers of land and is home to the rare black rhino, prides of lion, elephant, cheetah and great herds of buffalo, antelope and wildebeest.

Today, you will drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend over 600 meters to the floor of the crater for a day tour around the crater rim. Explore the forest areas inhabited by monkeys and elephants. Also, explore the lake area – where you may see flamingos, and lions preying on food out in the open savannah.
Picnic lunches will be served at the crater. Enjoy a late afternoon game drive back to your Lodge in Karatu/Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight
After breakfast drive to Oldupai Gorge – site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Afterwards, proceed to Serengeti National Park, arriving at around lunch time. Take lunch and set out on a full afternoon gamed drive of the Serengeti. This enormous park supports a vast variety of forms of wildlife; from large predators such as lions, leopard and cheetah to the smaller herbivores that they prey upon. Today, spend the whole day on game drive in Serengeti National Park – a wildlife sanctuary replete with all forms of various wildlife species. To maximize on the game viewing, picnic lunches may be ferried on board. Dinner and overnight at your lodge in Serengeti
After breakfast at your lodge, drive to Lake Manyara – a soda lake lying in the Rift Valley. Enjoy lunch at Kirurumu Lodge. In the afternoon, take it to Lake Manyara National Park for a refreshing game drive. Lake Manyara plays host to the renowned tree-climbing lions. There are also a large variety of animals including Giraffe, Zebra, Elephant, Gazelle, hippos, monkeys and about 400 different species of birds. Return later in the evening to your camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast drive to Arusha and Lunch in a restaurant. Drop off at your Arusha accommodation.
