The greatest wildlife spectacle anywhere in the world, also known as the Greatest Wildebeest Migration is back.
From mid-July of every year, Wildebeest by their millions, thousands of Zebra and antelopes congregate in the northern Serengeti in readiness to migrate and crossover into Kenya’s Masai Mara in search of fresh water and greener pastures.
During the crossover at the Mara River, this is where the real drama unfolds (climax) as the migration herds must swim across against the strong currents of the fast-moving waters that are highly infested with Nile Crocodiles and Hippos. Upon reaching the other side, another threat awaits them as tougher predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs await on the banks to have them a meal.
